The canals and the walkways alongside them can be wonderful to escape the busy buzzing city all around you. The countryside right in the centre of a city. This chap had already caught 7 fish. Sorry I forgot what sort. I just knew you'd ask. This particular canal is part of Regent's Canal just under the Islington Tunnel and if you want to become knowledgeable on all there is too know about UK canals, then visit here.

I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.
My Rheumatoid Arthritis hurts so I am using the same message for all.
7 fish, thats a good catch.
perfect shot, really stunning.
ooh ... goodie ... I will be in London in late September and I would like to explore some of the canals close to the city. Thank you for this.
This reminds me of a countryside walk around Bandung a couple of weeks ago. Quite a lot of people like this pasttime activity in Bandung. It seems to be very relaxing. Thanks for sharing this, Mo.
Love photos of people fishing! Excellent!
