Love this photo.I'm just reading a book - The Eagle Of The Ninth - which takes place in 117 AD when England was occupied by Rome. Great stuff!
Looks great - parts of burrough were an old roman colliseum. I used to live on old gladiator grounds...I believe there are many unsettled spirits in the area.Beautiful photoxxpinks

In Roman times London was a walled city. Small sections of the wall still exist. This bit is near Tower Hill.
