The London sector of the Red Bull air race was held over the weekend. The hot favourite was Paul Bonhomme, the English contestant who was leading by the end of the qualifying heats on Saturday. However the race was won on Sunday by American Kirby Chambliss.

I wonder, in the battle of Britain if anybody took any photographs of those aerial dog fights? I guess maybe it might have been too expensive. The film and the processing.
Wow, I have seen all the "red bull" cars in towns across the country, I had no idea there was a plane, too.
The one time I went to an air race, I found it hard to keep up with who was in front.
Love the plane! Reminds me of going flying with my dad when I was a kid! :D
