Bossy

Why do I always feel as if seagulls are giving me a right dressing down?

The building to the right known as the OXO tower, once an old power station, then in the 19th century underwent a renovation in art deco style for company that makes oxo beef cubes. The bureaucrats of the time would not allow large advertising signs to be erected. So the architect got around this by designing windows that create the visual effect of OXO.
The restaurant at the top has magnificent views over the Thames. Sadly like most restaurants in these situations the view is the highlight.

I quite like seagulls. I know they squawk but they are so delightfully clean ... not like pigeons.

Fantastic picture. That seagull is looking right at you. I remember the OXO building clearly. Too bad the restaurant doesn't have more to offer than the view.

I like the way the sea gull seems to be prancing by with his foot up daring you to do something! Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm hoping to visit London sometime this year so am enjoying your pictures.

So, the restaurant serves OXO meat cube soups?

Seagulls around the Thames seem normal. Now we have soon more seagulls than pigeons also in Paris.

I enjoyed your photograph and the sea gull overlooking it all.

I love the clever way they got round it. It's always good to bend the rules!

The old Oxox tower. I recall that. Cute catch of the seagoll. He really is posing.

I do love the OXO tower...but it's the gull that I am loving! Great capture of their haughtiness :)

Haha! I do love this shot. You probably feel that way because they most likely ARE giving you a right dressing down!

Well, leaving aside the price, the Oxo restaurant is actually rather good. Unfortunately, it is difficult to leave the price aside
