Just when you thought I'd finished with protests I drop another one in. Well you had to see what was happening in Trafalgar Square on Wednesday. The atmosphere here was more festive than that around the banking part of town. On stage is Julie Felix singing a protest song especially for the event.

Hey! Keep 'em coming, Mo. At the moment I am wearing an old (very old) tee-shirt with the ban the bomb symbol (as seen in photo). Almost back to the 60s..... Great photo again.

Such a lot of brouhaha for a one-day meeting that was mostly PR anyway because the real work was done by other people behind the scenes. They'd be better off trying to find out who hammers out all the policies before the heads of state meet, and where. But that might be difficult because I don't think those meetings get any kind of media coverage.
A lively scene! Glad they were in good spirits.
Well, I'd be singing a protest song against protests. Hilda is right, of course.
The last time I saw Julie Felix she had white hair. It does look like a carnival though.
It looks so festive!
Great shot and view point.
