What does it mean to you?
This finger? It belongs to Neptune, or at least I think that is who it is. He is pointing at the water below.
The statue is in front of the Royal Academy of Arts, in Piccadilly. Maybe someone can tell me more about it as I'm having difficulty finding any information.
Great picture. I love how everything else is out of focus. Fascinating!
ReplyDeleteVery cool photo!
ReplyDeleteThe hand is beautiful , looks real ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I know the statue. I searched for both Neptune and Poseidon and couldn't find anything, either. This is an elegant picture. The hand seems very stylized. The proximal phalanx of the index finger is disproportionately long, the middle phalanx about right and the distal phalanx quite short. Artistic license is fine here.
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot
ReplyDeleteHey Mo, what a super photo! I really like it :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, elegant picture, I love it!
ReplyDeleteLike this finger, to do a great photo like this we just need to press the button ... after analyse the better way to capture a good image.
ReplyDeleteI think this is one of your finest images. You have really got the focus of foreground spot on and the teasing image of just the hand a finger is inspired. I'm a huge myth and legend fan, so I'd be interested myself to find out more on this statue.
ReplyDeleteGoing ahead in that direction but still with doubts, cause it seems hesitating.Nice picture!
ReplyDeleteI love this composition. A great shot!
ReplyDeletemy mother always said it was rude to point but then she said a lot of things.
ReplyDeleteThis is great!
