The Queen gave Charles an award at the Chelsea Flower Show, guess all those years of talking to plants has finally paid off. While the show has presented gardens that prisoners and homeless people have helped create, others have chosen to present an alternative.
The Brompton Design District have their own fringe show with local shops and restaurants supporting the work of the artists. This secret garden just one of the exhibits. The garden skips in the streets are novel and fun with environmental messages, although each morning the artists find pieces of their work have vanished during the night.

Nice peaceful picture, I am planning to go there this weekend and have a look at those nice gardens!
That's a great idea to see some art.
Great photo. You always show unusual sights of London. So lovely. Thanks. Ciao. A.
Gorgeous - more please.
I like that many of your photos are not generic London pics. This is a perfect example of what you can find in London around the corner, down an alley, or in between some buildings.
Hopefully, Charles is not a suspect.
It's a great photo and a lovely place for a coffee.
I can picture myself going to a place like this, without stealing anything, of course.
Really beautiful picture!
she looks unreal
I love that this isn't what I think of when I think of London. Thanks.
Hey Mo!
This is a fabulous idea - wonder if there is a comparable garden competition of this sort stateside. Any idea? Is this the actual artist we see seated here? Lovely stuff; wish I could pay it a visit...

what a nice place to escape. such serenity.
nice garden.
Not quite a Japanese garden, but very pretty nevertheless. And it sounds like a great concept for a flower show. Shameful about the vandalism though.
I love secret gardens, and this one is very nice.
