Dee's Diner

Discovered this wee gem the other day. The 4th floor of Debenhams department store. Complete with wurlizter juke box playing Elvis!

What a cool place to dine out and ...back in time! Great!

It does look cool - although those chairs look a tad unforgiving after a while...

I bet they aren't charging wurlitzer prices though - have just posted a larger view of that shadow you asked about.

That looks like a fun spot for lunch and probably a lot cheaper than the Harrod's Food Halls.

I'd never have thought Debenhams if you hadn't told us. It looks fun; I wonder if they have that Elvis song with people singing "hot bananas" in the background? (I think it's 'Hound Dog')

We've actually got a chain of diners that look pretty much just like that in Quebec called Nickels! They're always fun for an inexpensive, retro evening ;o)

Looks like a lot of fun. Where are the kids in the saddle shoes and poodle skirts dancing?!

It's such a long time since I've been to this place, I'd forgotten it was there! Thanks for reminding me :-)

The interior looks so tastefully done up and very chic.
