Trying out my new camera raincoat. No truly. I love taking pictures in the rain but how do you juggle an umbrella and camera. Simple. You don't. Unless you have three hands. You buy a waterproof cover for your camera. Watch this space for lots of rain pictures.
Although we'll probably have weeks of sunshine now that I'm prepared.
Well, if this is one of your efforts: very nice!
ReplyDeleteIt usually rains here too, but not this winter. Buildings are collapsing under heavy loads of snow.
ReplyDeleteRain can be beautiful as it is in your photos.
i love pictures of people sharing an umbrella. there's just something so sweet about it. and i hope you're right about the sunshine. it would be nice for it to be bright and sunny for a change.
ReplyDeleteThe rain clear the air, so I guess you will get some very sharp shots. Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteNice shot! Although I hope you don't get too many chances to use the waterproof cover, as I hate rain!
ReplyDeleteI hate umbrellas, so I generally don't use them. Do they make iphone rain-coats? ;)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot! What kind of cover did you buy? I need something for my Nikon D5000.
ReplyDeleteWere they singing in the rain, just singing in the rain?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. Love rainy shots in the streets.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful shot. What a great idea, a raincoat for the camera. Am I mistaken or was this shot taken near Covent Garden? For some reason the scene looks very familiar to me.
ReplyDeleteWe were out yesterday and Barry said, 'I should have brought the camera rain cover' but we just had one short snow hiccough and that was that - fortunately! Looking forward to more 'wet' shots ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful shot Mo, it has a great 'old world' feel to it! Long live your rain cover :o)
ReplyDeleteI don't use brollies.
ReplyDeleteI worry about getting the camera wet but don't do much to protect it except to carry it under my coat when I'm not using it.
This is a lovely shot.
This is a very beautiful shot. Rain can be so romantic!

Love this shot. Am intrigued by your waterproof cover. Must look out for one of those. A couple of days ago the sea was incredibly high and I put my camera away before fo the spray. Now that would have been useful.
ReplyDeletelove the sepia tone of this photo. one of these days i would not mind visiting london myself.
ReplyDeleteYou should send this in to the card makers at Hallmark. This looks like a card cover....
ReplyDeleteyou could always buy one of those extra large umbrella hats. very trendy and it would keep your cam and lenses dry.
ReplyDeleteWaterproof coat for camera?! Where can I get that?!
