Theme Day - Passageway

The first of a new month already! The theme for March is passageways. This image shows not only the obvious passageway along the path between the trees but also the small boy with the ball suggests the beginning of his passage through life. His smallness compared to the huge trees.
Is that arty farty enough for you?

Wonderful photo and a worthy contribution for the theme day. I like your mind about the little boy. It's interesting.

Love the two levels of thought, and, yes, it is artsy fartsy enough for me!!

Very 'arty farty.'

Such beautiful, majestic trees! And artsy-fartsy (that's how we say it here) or not, I love that you kept the little boy and the ball in your photo.

Great photo and certainly words to contemplate. Perfectly arty, I'd say.

a beautiful place to walk and such a great composition

Haha that should do on the artsy-fartsy scale. Seriously though, nice shot and it's always good to include a human element.
Is it Regents or Hyde Park? Or neither?

What an excellent theme you mentioned. Perhaps this boy will become a star for Manchester United. (The team I follow on the TV when televised)

Love the grand trees. Must be an amazing path to walk all through the year.

Very pretty.
I have to admit that i followed the "passageway" to the end with my eyes, but I did not see the boy and the ball, until I had read the text under the photograph.
.... time to buy glasses ??

Not arty farty at all but a lovely double meaning for the photo. Very nice and touching.

Better arty than farty...at least if you are downwind...

....you could also have said that the passage of life is symbolised by the youth to the fore and old age is disappearing into the distance!!!!!!

Its a good pic so who cares.
