Under the Big Top

It's circus season. The excitement of acrobats, flying trapeze artists, high wire, clowns, jugglers, and all that comes with the circus never leaves you does it.

Last night I went to Zippos Circus at Finsbury Park. Everything you'd expect plus a few surprises.
Love those clever budgies. The honey bees will amuse children and adults. Ying and Yang will amaze. Actually why don't you just go and check it out for yourself.
You have until Tuesday to catch them at Finsbury Park. You can catch them at other locations after that date.
Oh and don't forget to say hello to Cartier, Omega, Rolex and Bronze.

I'll have an exciting competition for you on Monday. Make sure you come back for a chance to win.

Wonderful!
(Last year I went to my first circus season, and I hope to be at one this year too.)

Have a nice weekend!

Ohhh, I'm so envious! We don't have circuses here. They look like so much fun!

Sounds fun! I'm intrigued by the honey bees - just trying to imagine the props the bee-keeper (trainer??) would need. Not good for the hay-fever sufferer I guess ;-)

Looks like she was flying on a trapeze with the greatest of ease?!

Circuses have always seemed vaguely sinister to me, mainly due to the presence of clowns. Clowns just creep me out. :shiver:

Masterly photo Mo, and full of atmosphere, and a touch of menace too.

Clowns creep me out too. But, ah, the flying trapeze is another story.

I caught them at Blackheath and thought they were generally excellent but for me the budgies act was a wee bit dated and honey bees was the low point of the whole show.
