Yesterday morning the Bittern departed from Kings Cross station. A rare sight from a train that retired in 1967.A brief post as I am racing to catch a plane. Over the next couple of weeks I may not have time to visit you but will do my best to leave you a picture.
I love old steam trains.

ReplyDeleteThough, I noticed that there are flowers next to the tracks and also the rails have wooden sleepers under them (which many places have replaced with concrete haven't they?) so I'm assuming this is one set of tracks that isn't used as much?
