I agree Mo, I've arrived at both and Heathrow is insane!!
Heathrow is huge but amazing at the same time.
I've flown in and out of this airport more than Heathrow. I've always enjoyed it.
Gatwick seems quite homely after Heathrow but it's easy to get to, provided the M25 isn't clogged;-)Happy 2012 to you and yours:-)
What isn't friendlier and easier than Heathrow? (JFK.)
Smaller airports are always better :o)
It can take a little longer on the train, but it's worth it.They didn't tackle you to the ground for taking photos?
I've only ever done Gatwick and it seems fine to me too. Nice shot Mo!

A lovely, BIG Christmas tree! Always fun to be in an international airport - especially if I'm the one going on a trip!
Seeing friends off at Gatwick airport. I do find this airport friendlier and easier than Heathrow.
