Another party today. Burns day. To partake you'll have haggis for supper, which will of course be piped in by men in kilts. Then you'll recite a few poems. You'll finish the evening singing Auld Lang Syne and perhaps a wee dram of whiskey.
Oh I remember many a Burns night Mo, I'm a Scot and even though I grew up in Africa, there was a very strong Scots community..I've lost count of the times I've heard my Dad delivering The Ode to the Haggis...!!
This is the second Burns post I have seen today. I'm kind of slow, but it is starting to dawn on me that we are celebrating Bobby Burns today. I see . . .
Happiness is shy... but this party will make it easier for the lucky ones to be there...
