Grape?

Oxford Street has been a work sight for what seems like forever, however the other day I saw some of the results. A wider pavement. That might not sound much if you've never tried to battle your way along this street before, but believe me it's a bruising experience. The fruit vendor was a welcome sight rather than another obstacle to negotiate as a result of the wider pedestrian way.

That's good news. In Stockholm the pavements are walk-able in the winter if they are not icy, the rest of the year you will have to navigate carefully as there are outdoor café's on most of the pavements.

This shot is wonderful. The light and the colors are so appealing.

That's a fine display of fruit Mo, I was trying to get in close enough to compare prices haha!

Love the shot. It looks cozy and cheerful, and not at all like it's winter.

Well, your day is nearly done as it is now 7 minutes past 5:00 PM where you live and 7 minutes past 12:00 Noon here in Ohio where I live. The sun is out and bright as all get-out.

I like the photo of the fruit market. I suspect it is even safer to eat than the stuff brought into the large chain stores. At least it is that way over here.

As my grandmother always said when she visited any city "It'll be nice when they get it finished!".

Wider pavements on Oxford Street can only be a good thing. The prices on that fruit stall are outrageous compared to what I pay on my local high street...
