A quiet spot Monday to Saturday, however if you want to be entertained or challenged then come here on a Sunday to hear a multitude of opinions offered from various soapboxes.
I did this once many years ago but, I don't recall the coffee stand being there. I remember the speaker was quite passionate about his subject. I just don't recall what that was.

Cycled through the other day. Wonder why they don't have it every day.
Nice! I'm sure the coffee store will benefit from having the Speaker's Corner next to it. Especially Sunday!

I remember seeing a news segment about a speakers corner in a Northern Swedish town. No one had ever seen anyone use it.

Heh, that is one thing I haven't managed to see yet, Speaker's Corner on a Sunday!
When i used to go there there was always this person speaking for the Clapham Labour Party. Very entertaining.
I was there years ago, but I don't remember a coffee shop being there. Somehow that doesn't seem right.
