It seems every street corner in London has a pub on it. So what makes one better than another? For me the Crown and Goose has all the right ingredients that makes it a great pub - it's a super space, lovely art on the walls, all the right libations and well kept beer on tap, friendly staff, and the pièce de résistance? ...the food! The chef here knows what they are doing. I had a delicious meal of sea bass on samphire and crab, and my companion had falafel salad, equally delicious. I'm going to work my way through their menu.

Love the fireplace!
ReplyDeleteGreat when you find a place like that. I'm working my way through several menus (and the various beers too!)
ReplyDeleteSounds good! I've just told my daughter about it:-)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice cosy place to have a drink and a meal.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great place and I must say, the food sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of this place and the sound of the menu!
ReplyDeleteI expect the dog would have liked a tiara too.
ReplyDeleteNow that there's no smoking in pubs, I'd be likely to hang out there all the time. Is it close enough to be your local?
