The Importance of Clothes

There was singing, dancing, jumping and squealing.  People were queued along the street and around the corner for an entire block.  Was Justin Bieber in town?
Nope, it was the opening or re-opening of the Oxford Circus branch of H & M , a Swedish clothing store.

Clothes, but as my daughter would say, what about the shoes and hand-bags?

Wow, that is quite a crowd but, I've heard about how popular this place is. They've actually been a series of stories on the radio about what is called "fast fashion" and of course H & M was one of the first.

H&M took over the Borders bookshop in Stockport - didn't know they were Swedish

I didn't know H&M were Swedish. I assumed they were English. I'm so out of the loop.
