Soho Comedy Club is tucked away in the shadow bar of the inconspicious Empire Casino in the equally unknown Leicester Square. Every Friday and Saturday night for a few pennies you can enjoy a line up of smart and funny stand up comedy. If you fancy a pick me up on a Monday nights you can also go along to the new materials trial night. Some very funny and insightful anecdotes came our way on Saturday night, like the new in town New Zealander who couldn't understand why he couldn't buy shoes in "Boots" .. because it's a chemist/drug store ... naturally.
For added fun when the comedy show is over you can stand on the mezzanine looking down on the casino floor and see if you can figure out how they can spot the "cheaters".

By the way, this really made me giggle: "inconspicious Empire Casino in the equally unknown Leicester Square"
That would be fun! The comics and watching the gamblers.
Boots and shoes, haha. Good to know these things beforehand.
You can't buy Boots there? Now you tell me.
Ha! He'll find some other (kinda addictive) products at Boots though. Nice interior shot, fancy lights!
