Hooters, whistles and chanting, what was coming around the corner? For a second it appeared that we were being swamped with Americans. However it turns out that this is UK NFL fans and they were drumming up support for a fan rally to be held in Trafalgar Square today, with the game at Wembley on Sunday. More information here.

ReplyDeleteThose aren't fans, they're paid shills. There are a lot of NFL fans in London (there's even talk of a franchise before 2020), but these are not them. They're each wearing about £250 of brand new kit, and the blokes dressed in uniform are wearing a couple grand of authentic equipment (NOT for sale). This was a fully-licensed publicity stunt.
