Xmas Tree

Xmas is commercial so I guess it is appropriate for a xmas tree to be pure advertising.  This year's tree in St Pancras station is a donation from Fortnum and Mason to celebrate their new store  that opened here a couple of weeks ago.  (it's more than 300 years since they opened the last one)

It's called a Christmas Tree I hate the word Xmas but your right Christmas nowadays has just degenerated into a commercial oppertunity

Christmas is commercial now, so I guess we should all accept that. However, it still adds a nice feel to a wonderful station.

Oooh, that's interesting! I didn't know it was 300 years since F&M last opened a store.

300 years? That's older than my country... and the Yankees too.

It does brighten up the space. I have been looking at some places here with Christmas trees that have already gone up. I should take pics soon.

One of my favorite stops in London! This station is simply gorgeous. I didn't shop the F&M shop here but I did make it to the one on Piccadilly Street.

That's a nice big tree. Too big to be dwarfed by the huge space. Lovely!

Gosh!

Yes, the way the shops decorate for XMAS in London are just fantastic!

Wish I could just take a quick look.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.

The tree looks dramatic and eye catching way. 300 years is a long time between expansion.
