We've had a wee bit of rain lately. For Londoners it has just meant an umbrella. For those in the south or coastal areas of the UK it has been terrible with some of the worst flooding in decades. Houses have been washed away, vehicles blown over and services disrupted. Thousands of people have had to be evacuated from their homes. Let's hope the worst is over.

Captures a good rainy feeling!
Nice wet night photo. Mother Nature has been giving us a rough ride.
This is only the beginning of the winter.....
That's a superb photo!
You need to try more like this, that's very good.
The worst of the flooding has passed, the tide is lower now.
Nice shot! Hope the rough part of it is over.
Wet pavements and lights, always good for a photo; love the two reds - the hat and umbrella, they really make the shot.
Hear, hear! Super shot!
I hadn't heard about flooding in the south of England. Crazy weather all over the globe.
A wonderfully moody shot!
In my MS, I wrote part of the action in London, and had my Yank remark a couple of times on the tendency for there to be rain in London...
Good to get the red hat and umbrella together.
I thought the east coast copped it and they closed the Barrier so you would not get your feet wet.
I talked to a friend in Norfolk yesterday - it was very bad there!
