Dragon Boat Race

A close call at the finish line.  The London China Lions club has been hosting the dragon boat festival for 18 years. This year 40 teams competed.

Dragon boat racing along Regent's Canal in Paddington yesterday. The cowgirls and Indians here won this heat.

Yesterday I posted St Swithin's legend that what ever the weather on that day this would follow for forty days. It was raining when I did the post. However yesterday rained, was cold, was fine, was hot, was windy, was calm. Is St Swithin having a joke?

The Met office says its all just an old wives tale.
