Community Spirit

A lovely Irish man, who is one of the people responsible for this lovely community garden, in a church yard told me how he and Mary had done all the tile work over a 2 year period. He proudly showed me around and explained all the work they had done. He also told me about all the community activities that take place in the community rooms of the church. I was so interested in all he had to tell me that I forgot to get the name and details of the church. Guess I will have to go back. With all the negative news lately, I found this garden and the proud Irish man a great ambassador for the positive side of humanity.

That really does look like a fantastic garden. Great to see in the middle of a huge city.

Thanks for sharing it with everyone.

Beautiful garden! I'm glad that Spring is finally coming so that I can get out in my garden again soon. Not yet though, we're supposed to have a Thundersnow tonight. Weird phenomenon, but not too uncommon here.

I do have tulips sprouting though!! They're about 3 inches high! Yippee! This year I'm buying a new tree--a prairiefire crabapple. So bright and beautiful. I love bright flowers.

Happy Spring, all!
