Art & Murder

This street was where the 8th victim of Jack the Ripper was found. Frances Cole, a prostitute was found by a policeman on 13 February 1891.
Yesterday I found this wonderful fence with art sculptures such as this one along the length of it.
These 'face railings' feature portraits of 72 local people by artist Hillary Cartmel. A commision by One Mile East Public Art Trail as part of a regeneration project.

Interesting. Art can be anywhere and about anything! ;)

Looking closer at the picture, it is really cool! The did a great job of shaping the railing!

Thanks for sharing!
