Postcard from Paris - Bébés Pandas Même

A protest I guess about saving Pandas. Everytime I am here there is a protest of some sort. So far this trip I have encountered 3.

I have to agree. Everytime I've been there I run into 3 to 4 protests in various locations. Part of the color of the city. May Day in both London and Paris is quite an event.

The French love a good protest!

If you're there more than a week there should be at least one railway strike as well.

I'm all for saving pandas but I hope this group aren't as clueless as they look.

Looks like a photo shoot for men's fashion in France, lol. Fantastic photo, as always, Mo!

Oh, yes! A protest (or more) a day! When "Louis" lived in Paris, it was the same. As Napoléon wrote «Les Français argumentent au sujet de tout - et souvent.»
(The French argue about everything - and often.)

The first time I visited Paris, I got off the train and was instantly surrounded by a group of protesters shouting things in French I couldn't understand, and waving signs in my face with words I couldn't read. I learned it had something to do with workers, and the coppers were herding them into one area to do their protesting and leave the travelers to their days.

Apparently the French their freedom of speech!
