Skywatch Friday - Market

Those who follow this blog know I have been away the past week, as a result I don't have a fresh 'fresheyes' for today. This photo was one I took a a couple of weeks ago while exploring the East End. I discarded this one as it didn't achieve what I was trying to capture. The street market was just closing so there was a lot of activity on the street. In the sky was this stunning moon. A clothing stall on the corner still had these two children's outfits hanging from a pole gently swaying in the breeze. To me these outfits had a sense of both distance and solitariness yet were just within reach of the frenetic activity below.

Visit other skywatchers around the world.

I like the Give Way sign in the background too, lit by the street lamps.

No need to apologize for this SWF photo. The enlargement is just wonderful. It's definitely fresh to my eyes.
