Yes it's summer alright !

Squelching about in flip flops and unsuitable clothing for a Monsoon, roads flooded, black as pitch, thunder and lightening everywhere.

Roll on that "barbeque summer" the weathermen were so keen to tell us about. It's nearly winter again.

There is nothing like a British summer, enjoy it whether it is raining or not.... Trust me, when you are 12 thousand miles away, that is a sight for homesick eyes........

Sweating as I am now, though it is still mid-morning,I nearly envy the guy with the umbrella. Only I'd rather close it! Ciao, Mo!

It usually rains when I don't have an umbrella! It rained cats and dogs last Wednesday like I haven't seen it rain for a long time!

That kinda sucks. But I like the picture. Makes me feel like I'm right there and miserable with everyone else!

...and camera :). Rain does rule these days. He's protecting something? Happy weekend.

Good advice for London. I just wish we could get a little of this here. We had a little bit of rain the middle of last week with one of our monsoon storms, but not enough to do a lot of good. Just grey skies and lightening in the distance, no actual water falling.

This sums it up!

Yup, same thing here in Montreal! Leaving without an umbrella is equivalent to agreeing to a game of Russian Roulette!

I'd love some of it, right here, right now! Heatwave in northern Spain, up to 40 degrees

I've got about twenty orange fold-up umbrellas at home, but I always get caught out!

Boo! Being a Californian one of the worst things I can think of is rain in the Summer. Still a great picture, never the less.

That was what our entire month of June looked like!

We have umbrellas that open out to collect the rain in Wellington.
