When in London, one misses the stars. Street lights in photos (and in the rain) go a little way to make up for this.

Fascinating shot - there's something almost otherworldly about it.

Oh clever you. Love this and perfect with dear Big Ben in the background. An exceptional photograph, Mo. Well done.

Fabulous picture. It makes me want to step right into it (avoiding the cars of course).

Superb photo. I love the mystical trail of lights.
Thank you for your comment about total solar eclipse photo today. I was out of touch with the City Daily Photo community while out on a ship for two weeks in the South Pacific to reach the path of the solar eclipse, but it was a good time and worth it.

I love this shot! It's like a scene from harry potter :) Is that big ben in the background?

This has got to be one of my favorite shots of yours.
It's brilliant!
Great job.

Very cool! I love photos with these streaks of lights :)

Okay, where are the buses, trucks and cars? Because I can't see them!

Really very nice. Not much traffic but the place shines. I wonder if there was much sound?

I slept under a blanket last night. This has been the coldest July ever recorded here in Ohio where we live. And it was only 59 F here this morning. August is starting out to be more of the same. I fear a climate change is on the way and each year will disrupt the lives of more birds and butterflies to say nothing about the polar bears.

Beautiful photograph and great image!
Thanks for your visit and kind words!

This is what's great about nighttime exposures. You never quite know how the moving lights are going to turn out. Each is unique and nearly impossible to duplicate. Well done.

adore this blog and follow it religiously. Love the photographs, love the snippets of info , makes me miss London - it's my little piece of 'Brit' to keep me going until I get back there.
Thanks for a great blog!

When «Louis» sees the words St. Pancras, he always has to look twice - he always thinks it reads St. PanCREAS! ;-)

Well executed!

Love the location you chose for this. You could have chosen any street but didn't. I like the second, higher streaks of light, and the fact that it's green! Unusual.

This is a cracker. As it' so limited with night time traffic here, I just can't do these light trail images.
