Mid Month Subway - Baker St

Baker St station opened in 1863 on the first underground in the world, possibly making it the oldest underground station anywhere.
Five lines go to this station, it also has the most platforms of any station.
Try and find your way around here in a hurry!

I am off on a wee break to Brussels today. Will catch up with comments in a day or two.

subway day is a mid-month theme shared by the following blogs:Budapest - London - Paris - Stockholm - Sydneyand previously (where you can still see earlier posts) - New York City

It is beautiful. I love the buildings (or the facade of buildings)!

Imagine that - a station almost 150 years old. We're used to having old architecture around us but our subway is a fairly recent invention.

Happy subway day!

I've been there lots of times and never got lost, fortunately. We stayed in a hotel just nearby Baker Street during our stay in London last April. It's very old indeed but has its charm.
Have a nice break in Brussels! Another city I've been to several times and love, though not as much as London!

Definitely one of the most confusing underground stations I have passed through. I spent a lot of time just looking around thinking where do I go next!

Love the picture :-)
