Xmas Tree in Trafalgar Square

Every year since 1947 a giant spruce is given by the Norwegians to London in gratitude for support during the war.
The tree takes pride of place in Trafalgar square and is simply decorated with small lights.

What a lovely tree and a lovely shot all around, I love the contrast between the gray clouds and the blue sky!

How I'd love to see it "live" , with my eyes at Christmas time ... Just a dream!
Great picture, as usual.

That's a really cool thing for the Norwegians to do every year. I love hearing about things like this. It's a beautiful photo.
