Disguise

Building sites around London are increasingly turning the walls around their sites into canvases for artists. Behind the Tate this wall, that seems to go for ever, is covered in wonderful pictures.

I wonder: will it cut down on graffiti and the posting of unwanted placards? What a great idea and beautiful way to minimize some of the urban blight.

As long as it isn't unwanted graffiti, a great idea.

That's one thing I love about London. The entire city is a canvas for artists and street artists alike! :D

What a beautiful idea. So much better than advertising, graffiti, and the like. Wish that would catch on here (oh, wait I don't live in a city any more. Sigh!).

That's a wonderful idea and so much more interesting and eye-catching than plain boards.

What more appropriate a place than behind an art museum?!

it's a great idea to appropriate the space for something beautiful--your picture of it captured it so well.

It would be interesting to see a colour version of this shot, if you have it.
