Progress is being made, but not as quickly as I would like. Engineer returning Wednesday. Rebuild happening bit by bit. I think I have now just about replaced every part on an 18 month old top quality laptop. (should I still call it top quality?). Another day spent with technicians is nearly over. I am very hopeful to bring you a photo tomorrow.

I feel your frustration - but you'll feel better once it is all sorted.
Computers are just great when they work. But, when they don't, %$%@%#.

ick .. hope this issue is resolved soon. in the meanwhile i hope you are okay what with the looting and rioting in parts of london.

Actually, this PC lark is just the same and really very easy. I learned from my husband and my son. Who don't always agree. Take a course if you can find one. I have built three now. Two without help. [Because of course, I know best :-)]
If you have rebuilt it, surely now it is top quality!
