Open Loo's

I've noticed a few of these loo's popping up around central London.

In Glasgow they are called 'doorways.'

Like the pissoirs in Paris . . .

Laughing at Adullamite's comment.

Men must have much smaller bladders than women.

Wish ours looked as sleek as this.

This is called a butterfly urinal: http://www.lassila-tikanoja.fi/fi/PalvelutJaTuotteet/palvelujatuotevalikoima/ymparistotuotteet/yleisokaymalat/Pisoaarit/Documents/Butterfly%20tuotekortti.pdf

And you may also have noticed circles in the pavement: there's one in front of the Palace Theatre, Cambridge Circus. They are the top of another type of 'doorway' which retracts into the ground by day and elevate into position in the evening. When these first appeared, I conjured up the scenario of an unsuspecting tourist stood in the middle of one of these circles, too absorbed by his map of London's winding streets to notice his position rising by eight feet or so. I now realise their elevation/retraction is supervised. If you want to know more (go on, I know you do) there's a presentation video here: http://www.urilift.com/

Sharon's hit the nail right on the head. For us older guys its when you've gotta go, there's no hanging around.

Looking at the sign on the side there seem to be a lot of rules.

All the better to take care of one's needs. I think. We do not have such in this country.

Sometimes you need one of these!

I second Dave. Sharon is right. We older men have bladders the size of a pea.
