Remembering Bali

A memorial to those killed in the terrorist attack at a night club in Bali 12 October 2002. The marble globe represents that those killed came from 21 countries.  The names of all 202 who died are on the curved wall behind the globe.

It's a beautiful design. What a shame it was ever needed.

I really like this memorial. A nice way to remember those who were senselessly killed.

There's a lot of Australian names on that list Mo, I can never forget it, it happened on the same day as my birthday and every year since it will always be remembered. It's a lovely memorial.

That is a beautiful memorial and I like that it is so representative of the many nationalities of people who died there. I must make time to visit more of the memorials in the city.
