Oxford Street has gone totally commercial with it's Marmite Xmas lights.  As the sign says, you'll either love it or hate it.

If it was for the holiday only, I wouldn't mind.

I love it, I really really do - but here in the states we're just celebrating Thanksgiving today, so the Christmas Season doesn't officially start here till TOMORROW!

I love the lights on Oxford and Regents streets. I've probably told you this before, but the time I took my dad to London was over the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday week. We loved seeing all the holiday decorations up everywhere.

This would be better if it wasn't put up until the week before Xmas. Bright and cheery sign, though!

Hmm. Anonymous makes a very interesting point.

I like the fact that there are lighted decorations. It is disappointing that they are so commercial.

Tis the season...to go commercial! I love the look of lights this time of year, just a shame it's gotten so commercial.
