Museum Visitis - Welcome Collection

Science and art come together at the Welcome Collection.  The current exhibition is Foreign Bodies, common ground, a diverse body of work that came out of six resiedencies from artists who worked in research centres from six countries around the world as part of the art in global health project.

The works are as diverse as the artists and countries they worked in.  Art installations, photographs, video, sculpture, painting, it is fascinating to see how widely the theme has been interpreted.

THe exhibition is on until February 2014 giving you ample time to get along and see it.

I stood at the front door just a couple of weeks ago but I was a little early to the 10:00 opening. I thought I'd make it back but I didn't.

I'm sure it's a very common oversight but it's 'Wellcome'. :-)
