Inner Temple Doors


For over four hundred years students of law have entered through these doors into one of the four inns of court that hold the exclusive rights to be call the students to the bar and practice as a barrister in England and Wales.

Nice photo! I accidentally walked through Temple Church and through middle Temple the other day. I was so glad to finally be in that forbidden place that I've never walked through but couldn't repeat now that I've figured out where that alley way leads.

It makes me think of the TV show called "Silks" that I saw on our public TV station. That was an interesting show with all kinds of ups and downs.

It amazes me that this building is that old and is still in use while the building I posted today is no where near as old and in such a sad state of disrepair.
