Soak up the Sun

London's very own Riviera.  Sip a pina colada put on your sunnies and chill out.  Perhaps a bit too much of the chilling out given the current temperatures.  (20C that feels like 17C promised today).

Roundhouse Beach

It's hot and you want to go to the beach and you live in London.  No problem we custom make beaches here.  On the terrace of the roundhouse, in Camden, add 150 tonnes of sand, deck chairs, umbrellas, beach huts and food and drink - wallah instant beach.

Leigh-on-Sea

The old town of Leigh-on Sea is a quaint fishing village in the Thames Estuary. As you wander along the sea front you'll see all the cockle sheds processing the days catch. There are restaurants and pubs all along the seafront where you can sit in and enjoy some fresh seafood while you take in the view. If you are really lucky you may even spot Helen Mirren on a return visit to where she grew up.
Take a train from Fenchurch Station and you'll be there in 40 minutes.

Urban Beach

The first day of our new beach you could see the sand. Not now. It has proved to be so popular that finding your own patch has become a challenge. We need a bigger beach.

Beach Huts

An urban beach and a seaside garden have popped up along Southbank. A funfair and traditional beach huts. each of these huts has an installation inside, ranging from a seashell grotto to a penny machine that lets you whack a banker.
It's going to be a grand summer.

The Beach

Last weekend a Greek Beach appeared along Southbank. A few hours earlier it was so crowded not a space of sand could be seen. Music, food and travel agents were doing their best to entice you to go and visit the real thing.
