Very Stylish

"What are people wearing in London?" I was asked last week.  I love a challenge, so camera and I will focus on the fashion on London streets over the coming weeks.  The first of this series is Diane in very very stylish hat and coat.  

Fashion Week

Its that time of year again when all the beautiful people are racing from one fashion event to another. The more important the designer the more celebrities there are in the front row. The only way my wardrobe will be up with the latest designs is when fashion goes retro and I happen to have something from the original period still hanging in the closet.

Nico in Soho

Nothing to wear and need to be glam? The usual same old same old from the high street chain stores just don't cut it anymore. Well you are in luck! In the heart of Soho is Nico Didonna, who creates exquisite conceptual clothes, refined and beautifuly tailored.
Yesterday a friend was picking up a couple of new outfits from Nico's latest collection. Perfectly tailored, one dress could even be worn eight different ways. Absolutely stunning! Even better, the price tag wasn't!!
Why would you ever go back to the high street same old.

Victorinox more than a Swiss army knife.

Swiss army knives and luggage. Well that was what I thought of when Victorinox invited me to their store in New Bond St. I soon learnt there is a lot more.
For starters the impressive range of kitchen knives. I'm a sucker for a great kitchen knife. Testing the ceramic knife (above) was my idea of kitchen fun, just throwing the tomatoes at it produced great slices.

I did check out the Swiss army knives of course. I chose this one. Encrusted in diamonds and just a mere £63,000.

The clothing range was a big surprise. I'm still thinking about that lovely woollen jacket.

Victorinox are promoting their clothing range as a mix of workwear, military wear, ski wear and motorcycle gear. Did I mention the perfumes and watches?

Definitely more than Swiss army knives and luggage.
