The weather may be pretending its not really winter however we can still enjoy winter activities.  The ice-skating ring in front of Somerset House is such a great place to play.

Ice-Skating at Somerset House

The ice-skating rink at Somerset House is one of the prettiest around London at this time of the year.

Frozen Serpentine

The seagulls have their own ice skating rink at present. The serpentine in Hyde Park is frozen. Hundreds of crabby looking geese have left the lake and are sitting in small bad tempered gangs on the fields. I suspect that part of their disposition has to do with the seagulls failing about with laughter at their now exceptionally ungainly attempts at landing on the slippery surface.

Romantic London

An idyllic setting for a little romance.
One of the many ice-skating rinks in London during the winter months, this one is in front of the Natural History Museum.
