Shard Progress

On schedule to be completed in 2012 in time for the Olympics. I last showed you the Shard in March. I am looking forward to the viewing platform that will enable one to have a 3600 view stretching 40 miles. Just the weather to worry about to make that a reality.

Imagine a 360 degrees view for 40 miles - hopefully there will be no major set-backs and it will be completed on time for the Olympic Games - it looks magnificent!

That's a good picture. The clouds are just right to make it stand out.

I've been watching its progress with interest. You have snapped it at a dramatic weather moment. Very nice!

It looks like it's almost done at least on the outside. Glad to hear there will be a viewing area on the top. Sounds like a great spot for taking photos.

Ooo yes ... visible progress. And to rival the Montparnesse Tower for shot of the town.

360° above, in or below the clouds is the question! :-)
