American Picnic

Stars and stripes decorated the entrance to Portman Square yesterday afternoon.  The occasion? American Independence day picnic.  Invite only, or free entry to all Americans.  London gave them a lovely sunny day to enjoy the celebrations.

Remember the egg and spoon race and  the sack race? These kids prove it is as much fun as it always was.

Pretty Cupcakes

Pretty and delicious.  Abigail's cupcakes at the Amwell Street fete last weekend.  But you should see her wedding cakes they are gorgeous. 

Alice and Goose

Food stalls, bake offs, craft skills and dog shows, its all part of the London village summer fete.  Last weekend Alice and Goose were confident they would win the dog show at the Amwell St Fete.   How could the judges resist.

Elvis lookalike

He's perfected the moves and will slither and slide for hours on end. Our local Elvis loves any public party. I suspect any private party as well.
